A new version of SqlSmash (2.1.3.0) was released this week with some minor enhancements and bug fixes.
Enhancements
- There’s now a new user setting that lets you limit certain operations (like Locate in Object Explorer, Find References, Go to Definition and Quick Info) to objects in the current database. This is helpful if you have a lot of objects in different databases with the same names.
- If you invoke the Locate in Object Explorer on a blank line, it selects the current database. This does not work with system databases.
Bug Fixes
- The Search Database Objects used to error out if you have multiple databases with tens of thousands of objects. This is now fixed.
